1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Muj's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Service Description

Muj is a TARIC nomenclature classification platform currently in BETA testing. We provide AI-powered search and classification tools to help customs professionals and trade compliance teams classify products according to TARIC codes. During the beta period, the service is provided free of charge to early users. Features are experimental and may change as we develop and improve the product. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

3. User Accounts

To create an account, you need to provide a valid email address for authentication. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activities under your account. Please notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Beta Testing Terms

The service is currently FREE during the beta testing period. As a beta tester, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Features are experimental and subject to change without notice
  • The service may be interrupted, delayed, or contain errors
  • We may collect feedback and usage data to improve the product
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Beta access may be terminated at any time
  • You may be asked to provide feedback on your experience

5. AI Service Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: AI-generated TARIC classifications are provided for informational and guidance purposes ONLY. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI responses do NOT constitute official customs rulings or legal advice
  • You are SOLELY responsible for verifying all classifications with appropriate customs authorities before use
  • We provide NO guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated classifications
  • You must always consult official customs authorities for binding classification decisions
  • Muj bears NO liability for incorrect classifications or any customs-related issues arising from use of our AI tools
  • Classifications may vary based on specific product characteristics, and only official customs authorities can provide definitive rulings

6. Data Processing for AI

Your use of Muj's AI features involves the following data processing:

  • User queries and chat messages are processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI GPT models and Google Gemini models)
  • Your email address and user identifier are NOT shared with AI providers
  • Chat history is stored in our database and linked to your account
  • AI providers process your messages according to their own privacy policies
  • You can view your chat history at any time through your account
  • You have the right to request deletion of your data under GDPR

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Engage in any abusive, harassing, or malicious activity
  • Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Attempt automated scraping or data extraction without permission
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Intellectual Property

The Muj platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Muj and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. TARIC nomenclature data is provided by the European Commission. AI models are provided by third-party providers (OpenAI and Google). You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without explicit permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUJ AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Incorrect AI-generated classifications or recommendations
  • Customs penalties, fines, duties, or fees resulting from use of our service
  • Business losses, lost profits, or indirect damages of any kind
  • Service interruptions, delays, or errors during beta testing
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Third-party actions or content
  • Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the service (currently zero during beta)

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the account settings. When your account is terminated or deleted, we will delete your personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements, typically within 30 days.

11. Future Pricing

The service is currently FREE during the beta testing period. In the future, we may introduce paid subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Beta testers will receive:

  • Advance notice of at least 30 days before any pricing changes
  • Special launch offers and discounts
  • The option to continue with a free tier or upgrade to a paid plan
  • Clear communication about features included in each plan

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lithuania.
